Request - Road Rash CD32 Button Mapping

If anyone could be so kind to map F1-F5 to the CD32 pad buttons for this game,

i.e
F1 - RW
F2 - FF
F3 - Blue
F4 - Green
F5 - Yellow

I'd be eternally grateful if some kind soul took on this job

No, its one of the funny games that don't pick up any key remaps via cd32load, there are some others too, but they don't need must have buttons like Road Rash.

Can be done but still: you are limited on a CD32 because you have no savegame. I suppose you're running it on a real amiga?

Well it would be for a CD32 disc, so yes real hardware, I understand the option to enter passwords would still not be possible (unless you had a real kb) but the ability to complete the game now would be there for a longplay, until a time when maybe cd32load is more advanced or these issues with games not picking up key remaps can be resolved?

Or we could design a "save config" mechanism which would be implemented by a small piece of Arduino+static/flash-RAM plugged into the DB9 port and acting as a pass through.

Then we could modify CD32Load (and WHDLoad while we are at it) to handle that automatically.

I mean, this community has all the competencies needed both for that hardware and software so this seems like a fairly achievable goal.

I *might* have a look at the CD32 controls if no one else is interested and JOTD is busy on other things.... (I notice the source is included in the pack)

I haven't done anything whdload based for a while!

Sounds great! Obviously wait for a reply for JOTD to see if he hasn't already started, but much appreciated to whoever does it!

The source in the archive doesn't seem to match up on version numbers, and looks like it could do with a big update if it's still even partly correct....

... Would definitely want to speak further with JOTD on this one!

I guess you haven't heard anything? Is there no way to use what source is available?
