WTB: Serial Link Up Cable

I want to link an A600 to an A1200, for gaming... so without going with a pcmcia solution is serial best to get and where to buy?

baring in mind i need to get two and does it work on all link up games?

There's no reason why this (Click Here) shouldn't work. It is only 2M though so you might want something longer. I cant see how you could link Amiga's in any other way for Gaming....?

well considering the basic serial crossover cable is only 3 wires it should be simple to make

Just as a heads-up, classic games do multi(dual) player via serial only. Forget modems and Ethernet (Lan/WWW), it's not made for that.

Possibly a very few commercial titles work with multiplayer over Ethernet, but I doubt it.

Agree with CosmicFrog. There's also Vroom I think and Stunt Car Racer / The New Tracks etc for more fun
