Ben.
.CUE file explanation: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cue_sheet

The part that is most relevant to these image files is:

Quote:
Cue sheets are also used for many types of CDs in conjunction with an image file. The image file generally has a ".bin" extension.
If you are using a real CD32 then you will need to burn these images files to CD-Rs...

If you are using WinUAE then you can either burn these image files to CD-Rs or mount them as a "virtual" drive using programs like Daemon Tools...

Burning everything is probably a good idea... You need to extract the files, then using whichever burning software you have (i.e. Alcohol 120%, CDRWin, EasyCD Creator, Nero, etc) you need to open the image files and then burn. May sound obvious but don't start a new image and then burn the actual .bin + .cue files, as said above you need to open them inside the burning software...

Are you planning on using a real Amiga CD32 console or WinUAE? If you're using WinUAE then you don't have to burn the images and can use a Virtual CD/DVD-ROM emulator like Daemon Tools. It works with nearly all common imagetypes and emulates nearly all known protections. This is what I do

Basically you install Daemon Tools and then mount the image in a "virtual" drive. Now when you start WinUAE and it will use the image mounted in the "virtual" CD/DVD-ROM to load the game. This saves you using physical media.

Daemon Tools is very easy to use and you can get it from here: http://www.daemon-tools.cc/dtcc/down...tegory&catid=5

Hope that makes sense, if not then write back

Yes use Damiens Tool ... sorry bad joke....

Remember to burn at slow speed, x4 mayby x8 but not faster your CD32 might not like it.

Hey ben111g,

Ok, here's some instructions... Hopefully I haven't left any steps out as I did it from my head

... Extract the files out of the WinZip or WinRAR archive.
... Insert a blank CD-R into your CD-ROM or DVD-ROM burner.
... Start Nero Burning ROM.
... Cancel the wizard that starts.
... Select File --> Open.
... Change into the path where you extracted the image files to.
... The files are probably .BIN + .CUE files, double-click on the .CUE file.
... Select the slowest speed possible (as it's more reliable) and click Burn.

There is also the issue of cd brands. Due to the weak laser of the CD32 it has problems with a some cds but generally the cheaper ones without extra protections against scraches and such are best to use.

I have a problem burning several files to a CD for Amiga CD32.. Help?

Hey! I havent burned CD32 games for a long time and just forgot how to do it...

I just downloaded a zipped file (Pinball Illusions) and when I unzip it contains the following files:

-Iso-file
-Wave-sound
-Wave-sound
-Cue-file

There are 4 files in this unpacked folder I just unpacked.....

My question is then: How do I burn these files together? Should I just pick all these files in Nero and press burn or what´s the solution?

// Appreciate some guidelines....

Point nero to the cue file, but Im not sure nero likes cue sheets. I normally use image burn. Once you select cue, it will include the other files.

Open "Recorder" menu in Nero, select "Burn Image", select cue-file. Burn. Done. (Do not select iso or you lose audio tracks)

btw, Imgburn is good and free alternative.
