Hello ,

no no problems with the whdload install of Goal! , it's just that this install is not really finalized (it will be one day , thanks to Stingray) as we can't save replays or Data , so i was wishing that one HD install had those features...

To install those JST install , i don't manage to do it , i miss Yadi prog so if you could do them it would be very nice.

None of the available Goal! HD patches has fully working load/save features.

Seems to have disappeared again (either that I just cannot find it)
I'm also after JST 1.4, is it possible to actually leave it on the FTP server somewhere?

Edit: Ignore me, I'm being an idiot.
I found it in "The Zone!"

Seems that "The Zone!" next to the log off button is not the same as the "The Zone!" folder on the EAB file server ..... you can tell I've not been on here for a long time!

Hi, if I want to use an A2000/KS1.3 and want to play some games from HDD,
what Version of JST do I need and where can I download it?

I got some JST-Installs already but thy don't work. Probably the game uses an JST Version that does not run under 1.3 ?

I downloaded an already installed JST-Port of IK+.
It always gave me a jst-error 205.

I figured out, that the JST-Port of the game had the game itself and a starter, but NOT JST itself
So I copied JST 1.3a in the same folder but I did not run either.
I was not able to execute JST, so I made in runable by "protect JST +E"....and IT WORKS

This is pretty damn fine!

The quit to workbench does not work jet.
I get a blank screen (IK+) or the machine reboots (DogsOfWar).

Is it normal, or am I doing something wrong?

What is the latest JST Version for Kickstart 1.3 ? Is it JST-Update-Version 1.4 ?
Do I need several versions for several games, or should I stay with 1.3a?
The updated 1.4 Version did niche work for the games.
Is it true that I only need the JST binary and nothing else from the jst files folder ?

Dude 1.4 should be best - Does Ik+ work?
I think this game does not need JST and can run straight from HD
I think the Tooltypes and parameters dont work as well on kick1.3 - So lowmem + HDload might not work so max ram is required.
If you tell me what your spec is and what games you want to run ill have a look.

The version of JST1.4 update from the link seems to crash under Kick1.3 for me? Ive put another version that seems ok in The Zone.

Yes you are right, my Version of JST 1.4 crashes under Kick 1.3.
Do I have to change tooltypes?
I got my JST Ports from grandis.nu FTP (Commodore_Amiga/Retroplay/JST_(WIP).
I only copied the JST1.3a executable in the folder of the extracted game and it starts
by clicking the included batch?-file.

Yeah cool the Jst1.4 in The Zone works under kick1.3 and has the WHDload emulation good luck.

Glad you found a version that works and has some use I was ready to browse through my old aminet CDs since my configuration management was not so good in those days...

About WHDLoad emulation: JST was able at some point to load WHDLoad slaves and play them.
Of course this only applies to old, unupdated slaves. But IIRC up to whdload v13 slaves were supported.
Recent KickEmu slaves are not supported.

Year! Pretty cool this JST stuff. Exactly what I want (running Disk-Games from HD with Kick 1.3)
I already bought WHDLoad and used it on my other A2000/3.1/68010 BUT I want to use Kick 1.3/Wb1.3.
I'll check up for the old "whdload v13"-slaves, perhaps there are lots of old Games with it

I will test this further.

Any Idea why quitting JST-Games currently gets to a black screen?
I can hear the clicking of the floppys but I see no Workbench.

Perhaps I do something wrong?
If quitting normally ends to a black screen it's not a problem, booting the machine is quite fast.

I did not expect someone using kickstart 1.3 with JST in 2015, that's cool!
Well, what's your configuration? maybe I can reproduce the problem with winuae.
Have to tried to type the exact JST command / batch file when the screen is black and see what happens? Maybe the game starts again, or you get a guru... or maybe not enough mem so it goes back to the OS but crashes.
