CygnusEd deleting .info files on save?

Tonight I'm writing some Installer-scripts on my Amiga, and there is a strange thing happening each time I save the install-scriptfile.

In my case there are two files in this directory:
InstallApplication
InstallApplication.info

If I edit the first file in CED and try to save it, it will save the file, but it will also delete the associated .info-file. I can't remember this behaviour from the past.

So I tried to tick the option "Icon creation?" in the Global-menu.
What happens now is that yes it will save the file, but it will also overwrite the existing .info file if one exists.

Is this a feature or a bug in CygnusEd 4.17 ?

EDIT:
Just tested with version 4.2 instead. Works fine there. Guess it's a bug.
Case closed.

I'm using 4.23 and it doesn't delete icon files either... and I don't have icon creation enabled. So yeah, maybe a bug in some certain version?

Seems like a bug, yes. I have the icon creation disabled in 4.2, and it works fine.
Thanks for replying
