Commodore 1942 monitor help

Gutted. I have a nice Commodore 1942 monitor that is not working anymore and would like to get it working. It's a shame as it's in very nice shape.

It was working fine a few years ago then the screen started to go very white and washed out, with some diagonal lines on the screen.

Now the screen does not work at all, and stays black.

I presume it might be capacitors? The LED still comes on and I get static on the screen so I assume flyback is still ok.

Would someone have a Capacitor list avail for it? I could try a recap to see if it helps...

Any help would be appreciated.

Hi,
not sure if replacing all capacitors may help in this case.
i'm not a big expert in crt, but this kind of issue is more related to a power issue of the crt itself. you face a kind of G2 power issue : http://www.fixya.com/support/r438363...een_g2_voltage

so, if reajusting is not enough, you may have to find what failed.
can be a transistor, resistor, more than a capacitor.

but anyway, you can consider replacing capacitors in the psu part.
i have a 1942 wich stopped working and blowing fuse.
it was the main capacitor (the big 220 µf 400V, you can't miss it ) was shorted.
