The new TF4060 accelerator for A3000/A4000’s is coming soon !!!
Just saw this on Facebook and just WOW!
The first TF4060s are on order and whoever wants one will be able to buy it within a couple of weeks! The board is currently considered "Open beta", if you find bugs, please report them and they will get fixed. The firmware can be easily updated via a RPi Zero W that plugs on top of the board. The board features 256MB ram, software selectable CPU frequency (50/75/100 Mhz), onboard IDE controller with driver in ROM (no need to use loadmodule) and fully supports DMA (so you can boot from A3000 SCSI). It has been tested with a bunch of popular Zorro cards, on all versions of A3000 and A4000. |

Great to see the progress.

In fairness, BFG9060 works just fine in 4000T, no? Personally, im very happy with the bfg in my a4k but looking forward to the TF for my A3000 with scsi ;-) |
