AFAIK standard A1000s loaded kickstart data from floppy disk into a 'WOM' chip. If you're talking about emulators isn't everything software based anyway? They're emulating the real ROM by using software (kickxxxx.adf). That could be called a ROM *image*, disk like other .adfs can be called FLOPPY DISK images.

That's kinda what i meant. It would'nt be a rom image would it? It would be a disk image or wom image.
I just realised that i don't have a 1.1 rom anywho. I don't think i have ever seen one for an emulator... Im gonna shut up and go to sleep now

Is it possible to get hold of that so you can start an emulator up with the 8k bootstrap rom which then would look for a kickstart.adf file? That would be cool??? </Hmmm....> |
