[Found] --> Brutal Sports Football (was:Football / Soccer game with weapons?)

I remember playing a fooball/soccer game where you could play as humans against all kinds of teams with monsters on them. You could find weapons on the field (remember swords) and cut the heads of your opponents, that was one way to win or you could win by just scoring the most goals. Great game.
Anyone know what game I'm talking about?

I just searched for brutal sports football & even though it fits the description perfectly I'm not so sure that's the one. Actually I think I had both & remember them to be quite similar, however I can't remember if it was soccer, rugby or football. Thanks for your help!

Brutal Sports Soccer is actually called Wild Cup Soccer.

By your description, it gotta be Brutal Sports Football.

The easiest way to answer "which one" is this. One1, did the game you remember have a 2D horizontal view, or an isometric 3D view?

Brutal Sports Football came out first & was a horizontal scroller, whilst Soccer was more in a Fifa soccer isometric perspective.

"Wild Cup Soccer" was the one I confused it with.
