The seller put it in the Atari section. That's why the price is not through the roof yet.

People go crazy on anything that is rare for their hobby. I seen people pay a ton of money for rare atari 2600 carts i wouldnt want to play even if they are free.

Spoiled society. But I guess buying a regular game for 50 bucks is ridiculous when that's the monthly wage on average for most of the third world people.
yet to spend a thousand on a crappy 2600 game, when that 1000 bucks is half the average monthly wage of an American or dutch, that's utterly imbecilic and retarded.

I would imagine that somebody who pays $1000 for a game makes alot more then $2000 a month.

It has alot to do with having something others cant afford and want, maybe being able to say you have a complete collection.

I buy games to play. When I got GODS for the atari ST still in shrink wrap the first thing I did was open the box. Most people buy the old games to look at, I want to play them.

Yes, but what I mean is, that grand can be spent on something more practical.
Yes, a game ay even 50 bucks is not really practical , but sheesh...there is some psychosis and plain idiodacy in wanting a t shirt for 200 bucks, unless it's an investment to snare some dumbass into buying it.

Why , some designers sell dresses for $20,000. Dont tell me thats practicle. I am sure you seen $200+ shirts in NYC store windows all the time.

If we just did whats practicle we would all live in the same style mass produced house with the same car, carpet, tv, clothes, haircut, each of us on the block raising a different kind of vegetable we all share.
