Amazing that they are so sure of the release date when the guy who is manufacturing it doesn't want to commit to a date...

It's going to be "late march", but I'm pretty sure that it will be march. At least for the early adopters who are willing to take the wait until all screenmodes are supported in all output-pixelclocks.

Yes, we will want to stock this item as we are an official reseller of Individual Computers products.
We have a policy of not advertising products until we have definate notification from the manufacturer that the product is imminent. |

Just how much is the flickerfixer gonna cost? I've got a penny or two saved up, just want to know how much of my wages can be directly put into Jens' pockets

Well, if Vesalias pre-order price is anything to go buy, around 150 Euro.

Now that it's imminent I'm wondering if a fan or some kind of cooler is necessary for it.

I'm sure there would be no "fan" for the unit. You can always passive cool it yourself if you want..

This is the Indivision AGA MK2 thread. News about other products will be released separately. As you can imagine, there's currently a lot to do on Indivision AGA MK2, ACA1231 and the current Chameleon and Micromys production runs (you may have noticed that Chameleon and Micromys is in short supply at the moment).
ACA520 is of course not forgotten. I do expect this thing to get lots of people to dig out their A500 and get back into the beautiful "hobby Amiga", so it'll be next on my list after Indivision AGA MK2. Jens |

All those of you who wanted an Indivision AGA MK2 for A4000D and/or CD32, but didn't contact me yet, please do so NOW. I'll be sending out the invoices till the end of the week (yes, later than I anticipated).
I decided to make one production panel with both versions, which is the most cost-efficient method (if quantity relations will be what I'm expecting...). Delivery will be before the end of april. I will guarantee that by the time of delivery, the unit will support PAL screenmode in 62.5Hz and NTSC screenmode in 75Hz. More screenmodes and output frequencies (like the legacy 50/60Hz modes) will be added with flash-updates. As the capabilities of the core grow, we'll also have a config tool at a later point. For now, we only have a flash tool, similar to the flash tools that you may have seen for the old model of Indivision AGA, and for Indivision ECS. I'll report here everytime I can add a screen/output mode. Jens |
