AmigaOS 4.1 announced

* Improved 3D hardware accelerated screen-dragging
* Reworked AmiDock with true transparency
* Reworked Warp3D Radeon drivers with new functionality

Why Not bother? Just because you don't want an update to AmigaOS, doesn't mean that some of us, don't.

Mainly because it does not support Classic, which OK I was a bit lazy & should have said in my first post.

I just don't see how it can be economically viable for Hyperion, that's all.

Something I've never considered until now though...isn't running OS4+ on an A1200 or A4000 with a suitable PPC card quite akin to using a C64 keyboard connected with Keyrah to your PC? The Amiga is simply a means to control another computer (almost) and all "thought processes" are not done by the Amiga at all?

Of course I am interested in all Amiga Developments & a new OS version release is great news to the community as a whole.

It's just I cannot bring myself to invest in the hardware required for OS4 with todays ridiculous prices, My PPC MAC Mini however awaits the breakthrough if it ever happens & it can be installed.

To me Amiga has always been 68XXX & OS 1.x to 3.x & that sir is the absolute truth.

See my post just above, My PPC Mac Mini awaits....... Else I am NOT going down the route of PPC.. etc for my Miggys, I can't justify the costs.
