I can not recommend a ready made one, but they're quite easy to make. If you can't solder you could consider making one out of ribbon cable and IDC connectors. It'd be ugly, but perfectly functional.

Have you considered a BlueTooth adapter like Unijoysticle2+? A single board which plugs into both joystick ports and makes them BlueTooth enabled.

https://www.tindie.com/products/riq/...use-for-amiga/

It has "A500" in the name but you can see from the photos it fits an A1200 too.

The older version which uses the ESP32 dev-board is slightly cheaper. (Not sure if the spacing is correct for direct plugging into A500)

alexh - not a fan of bluetooth or anything wireless

Kin hell - i usually just go for long cables for the sake of it i could probley get away with 5ft there for my father cd32.

Really at this present time we have two extensions cable connected to one another just to extend the short one we had. This causes issues with a tank mouse that has been laser upgraded cant left click connect it though directly works no problem

A nice idea but it is missing the remote end so it would be possible to also BT-enable a regular joystick, e.g. using some battery-powered adapter. Any solution like that out there?

Search for RS232 extension cable. They are available and cheap (reichelt.de has a 3m long for 3€). And I think they deliver ALL the pins, which is what you want.

A while ago I had a 2m long somewhere and IIRC the joystick I tried - just out of curiosity - worked fine. Haven't checked a mouse though.

If the reason for your problem is electric resistance you could also try to apply a small amount of contact spray to the plugs.

I have a prototype system along those lines (has 2xDE-9 and a 5-pin DIN keyboard connector for Amiga keyboard, mouse and joystick at each end) that I built many years ago. I haven't had the time to put into it however to get it into a presentable state...

Are you saying you want to go the other way around and to convert an Amiga joystick/keyboard/mouse to BT?

Seems a bit of a waste of time to me, some people have done it if you google.

Surely you can just buy BT enabled devices which already have a battery in them?

That's how far away one should sit to negate the radiation effects of a 1084s
