IDEfix97 installation

Hey guys, I have an 2MB A600 with the buffered IDE splitter and an internal CDrom. I have installed IDEfix and have it all working, but it does seem to take a big chunk of memory. Can anyone tell me what are the minimum components of the software I need to have the CDrom working? ie or there just some files and libs that i can copy and edit a few lines on the startup

cheers

Edit s:startup-sequence and add a comment sign before c:idefix (i.e. change c:idefix into ;c:idefix). Or remove the entire section which was added by idefix.

Edit s:user-startup and remove or comment everything which was added by idefix (it told you during installation).

All you need to run the CD drive is

L:CacheCDFS
Devs:atapi.device
Devs:DosDrivers/CD0

Assuming that on clicking on the CD0 icon the CD drive works, what is IDEFIX for?
