I was lucky to see MorphOS running in Pegasos in the AltPartyIV in finland. It is certainly a NG OS, it runs like a dream in a G3 Amiga (well it's in Pegasos which is actually a beautifully designed mobo/h/w/whatever). I saw it running PPC apps, games (QuakeII) and all I can say is that it rocks...

Közös az, hogy mindkettô a lehetôségekhez képest szeretne kompatibilis maradni az eddigi Amiga alkalmazásokkal.

I cannot see anything special about those screenshots All those effects are also available on Amiga OS 3.1 and above using tools like Birdie and/or Visual Prefs

Official Pegasos page Anyway, MorphOS is miles better than current OSs. Not just in terms of look but mainly functionality... |

I know it´s fast but the point is .... these screenshots aren´t SOOOO exciting as Pyro pointed out An OS cannot be previewed by screenshots !!! Anyway, I´ve allready worked on a Pegasos with MorphOS and I´m not very pleased with it .... Still waiting for AmigaOS 4.0 (on PPC ) and until then I will still have fun and work around with OS 3.9 on my A2000/060

you see this is what Windows lacks (good icon design)... take at the screenshots and Apple OSX, it makes windows look like its been designed by a 6yr on MarioPaint (using a Joypad)

Why cant somebody port this or other amigaOS thing to cheap old mac PPC machines you can get used for $50? I mean a Powermac 7500 with built in video, sound, networking, scsi, PCI cards, 1gb max ram would be cool plus the G3 card upgrades are cheap. That way you wouldnt have to make millions of drivers just the built in ones.
