Hey fisken uno,
I've just upload a file to The Zone! called BTTR_SaveDisks.rar which contains 89 save disks that myself and Thalion managed to grab from BTTR before it went down. Hope this helps |

At least the BTTR ftp has always been accessible.
....but it would be brilliant if come January 1st 2007 - the full website is back online! I visisted this site many a time before I'd even heard of WinUAE and still miss it to this day. |

Wow, looks like you can get all 92 Save Disks from the BTTR FTP
Thanks to eLowar for the news in another thread Quote:

Thalion has a complete backup of the whole Back2roots site content. I heard, that Back2roots will be online again, but i don't know if it's true.

The games collections links work (i.e. Assassins Disks & Games Galore) as do most of the other links on site. There are a couple of "remakes" also available on site as well....
http://cpc464.back2roots.org/goodies.htm Funny thing is just the URL... CPC464...it's an amiga goddamit.... not an Amstrad!! |

Does anybody know how long they've been down?
I hope they come back online soon as I'll probably forget what I was wanting to look for. |

Hmm...
I've been following that thread recently too, and I've not been able to find anything either. I'd be interested in a copy of that utility myself if anyone can unearth it! I've got a great disk sector editor for the PC (PC Tools v1.0, would you believe? ), but alas, nothing for the Amiga. Good luck with that, mate! prowler |

They were working fine last night, so this downtime is a bit unfortunate I must agree.
Beforehand though I had problems accessing any of their hosted sites (EAGER, Fish Archive etc), citing a 503 error I think. Whether bandwidth was the issue I don't know. |
