I was going back through Myth: History In The Making. I've checked all the cr's, and I'm not sure if it's a bad one or CPU incompatibility. I thought this game worked with A400 CSPPC/060..long time ago, but perhaps I'm remembering my long since sold A2000? The CSL cr or the CSL with trainer by N.S.C./[L]egend boots on my A4000, and I'm able to play through all levels until "Forests of Nidhogg"..get to the woman, and the sword next to her. Attempt to grab it or go a bit more to the right of it and the screen shot happens.

This happens with real A4000 and WinUAE 4000 CSPPC. I've also used disk 2 from WHDLoad install since I don't have the original anymore but that didn't help.

Perhaps a recrack with trainers?

I use this set but with a standard A500 setup:
... Myth - History in the Making (1992)(System 3)(Disk 1 of 3)[cr CSL][t +25 LGD].adf
... Myth - History in the Making (1992)(System 3)(Disk 2 of 3)[cr CSL].adf
... Myth - History in the Making (1992)(System 3)(Disk 3 of 3)[cr CSL].adf
Finished this numerous times without any issues; it's definitely 100% working.

I finished the game several times with an A2000 years ago also, and with WinUAE A500. That's why I was wondering if it's CPU related since the games plays well from that part to the very end sequence. Hmm..

Appreciate that part of the confirmation, Damien.

But I wonder if a 680x0 fix as well as an AGA fix could be applied by the skilled?

Are you sure that's not the crack's way of asking for another disk?

this is what happens when a loading fails ingame.

Haha, very. I played the game many times after I bought it and got the crack. Each segment is loaded completely.

It's not loading anything more. Once a level is loaded, it only loads a bit more when level is finished in some way. Why I'm wondering if it's a bad crack or merely zer060.. Seems funky to be zer060 since all other parts are fine but those 2. But then, as Damien typed - it does complete with A500. Hmm...I something about Amiga coding but not enough on this specific. So I asked. Hmm... Are you suggesting hardware related? Because it does it with WinUAE A4000 CSPPC..

Fair enough. It was fairly common for cracks of 1 disk games that had to be split onto 2 disks to request the 2nd disk in this manner.
