I have been talking and its good enough to release. Only minor bugs (wont effect operation) left on software side.
Any news or date to tell?

It is over two years since the first announcement (18th October 2013).

I hesitate to call "vaporware" on this, but considering the time and lack of news updates....

It's not vaporware as the product actually exists, but it sure is taking a long time to sort out the remaining issues.

This is why I never wanted it announced until it was ready. I will keep asking until I get a definite answer.

So Nova, if the Prisma supports OGG, is there a way with your latest ScummVM ports that I can select or use it?

You know I've always wanted to play Full Throttle with my ACA30/56.

Edit: Also another question about the Prisma Megamix. I will be using a Clockport expander to have also a RapidRoad -yes I'm pimping up my A1200-.
I think it will be for Pin 1 (well, near it, left in the mobo, also considered Pin1 for the Clockport expander) red side of the ribbon for Prisma and the contrary for the RapidRoad, am I right?
Edit2: It seems so:
Prisma
RapidRoad

I will be trying soon the Prisma soundcard. I'm curious if it will play one of my latest direct links for radio on stream (AKReal 8.6 WIP), for Slay Radio. The link works on WinUAE perfectly well, but it doesn't open with a MAS player or even directly with a BPPC. I suposse it won't work in the real thing, only on WinUAE -bad emulation dude -.

Correct, Prisma to left.
Glad Im not connecting those two up together, very confusing the whole cable to right and left business. Should all be to left, would make life so much easier.

Thanks Fol.

Novacoder I've got a question for you a couple of posts above.

Trixter I don't know, but I've got the feeling it will be ready for Christmas, just my feeling . As I see it, if the hardware is ready there aren't reasons for not releasing it just telling the software is beta, something doesn't work yet or whatever -remember the indi MKII?-. Also if they release it maybe there will be more programmers trying it with whatever and helping.

My idea is that it's working by now at least as an internal MAS player with much more capabilities WIP for more programs, which is great.

Yes in theory you could do exactly that and it was my original plan when I started trying to develop for the Prisma. Unfortunately the prisma driver was never that stable on my 060 and so I put Prisma support on hold and decided to do my final ScummVM releases without it.

I'm not planing on doing any new ScummVM releases for the Amiga.

Well, you know you have an 030 beta tester here in any case.

Another question: If the Prisma is used by AHI and as ScummVM uses AHI, then the music of the games using ScummVM -ie Full Throttle- must be running better in an 030 -less CPU use- with the Prisma, am I wrong?

Oh yes I forgot http://eab.abime.net/showpost.php?p=942436&postcount=70

I don't think Novacoder can change ScummVM to support MHI, he is tired and a very old man...

Nope, using the Prisma to play sound using AHI would not give you any performance benefit over using Paula with AHI.

Hey I know the card isn't available yet, but the backplate is, so I wonder what for are those four connections. They aren't labeled, so no idea if they work the same, if each one is planned for something, if it's just to plug the stereo plug connected to my hi-fi wherever, etc.

Two are outputs, two are inputs.
