In the line of Fire - Dreamcast f.p.s - Kick-starter.

A commercial quality fps is being made for the Dreamcast - yes the dreamcast is awesome.

You need this game in your life... and it clearly needs you... well erm.. your money anyways. But yeah it looks ace and the minimum funding amount is reasonable.

Yes, I have put my money where my mouth is rather than the inverse.

The dc scene has had a huge resurgence lately with many games incoming.

Compared with visual masterpieces like Shenmue it looks like shit (yes, a bit unfair). Well, mostly a problem if you show too early material. I've heard the brothers from Duranik work on something new (Sturmwind maker). We'll see.

The Dreamcast controller is just not appropriate for FPS. Playing Quake 3 on that thing with friends is hilarious, because no one manages to play it properly.

Yes, duraniks new game is well anticipated. Yes, this is still an early build, the graphics will improve in the finished version I hear. Quake was tricky to play with the dc pad, yes, but with only one analogue stick...

I guess dreamcast mouse and keyboard support can be added easily though. Also sturmwind is getting a rerelease, a new print run. It should be cheap enough and sturmwinds awesome.
