Well yeah, I'm not saying he should have pretended to be David Whittaker

Wow. I can't believe anyone could pull this off for 10 years!! The guy who did the endtro to Jesus was a regular at our computer club back in the day. We weren't friends but I told other scene people that I knew him. Yes it was a stupid thing to do. But I was 15 and an idiot. Anyway this was before the days of social media and Google where telling people involved jiffy envelopes with too much parcel tape and stamps made with your dad's colour laser printer at work but the scene was very incestuous, everyone knew everyone, and just saying to a few people I "knew" someone that I didn't, it got back to "Cath" within a week or two and I was persona non Grata on his side of the village hall to say the least

So, I'm confused! (easily done) is Spoon Wizard on Soundcloud the real guy or fake guy?

Not that I like the kind of music on Jesus on E's anyway, it does my head in and was everything that was wrong with the 90's as far as I was concerned! But I still like the demo because I like the graphics and effects and it was the only one I remember actually getting when I had an A1200 back when they came out. No idea where I got it from unless it happened to be on a cover disc?

Spoon Wizard is the real Echo/LSD. I guess you could call the other one Pseudo Echo

What a shit-show all this was!

I think RetroManCave is a very good youtube channel. To be caught out by some prat lying is bad, but some good will come out of all this at least!

We will get to find out all the good stuff from the real chap at some point

In all this drama, I was very chuffed to learn, the real Echo (Spoonwizard) appears to live in the same town as me (Exeter). Makes me feel all warm and fuzzy which is seen as nerdy to others and members of my family lol.

I am aware that Alistair Brimble lives in or lived in Crediton, Exeter (Not 100% sure if he still does?).

All very near my neck of the woods too! Not that I ever see anyone else that’s into retro computing in real life mind
