Hehe. Great site, Fred. Seeing the Nineties commercials it partly explains the downfall of the big C in 1994.

I could never work out why the bulk of C= Amiga ads were in Amiga magazines. Would have helped if they spent the money advertising in non-Amiga mags instead of preaching to the converted...

Actually what i can't understand that there where never TV-spots in germany.
At least i can't remember. And Germany was one of the biggest markets.

apart from the most popular commercials (both TV and papers) : celebrities, neighbours, MTV, A600, unfair competitive advantage, .. do you know or remember of any commercial with kind of sexy, funny, and exotic touch (i was thinking of specific foreign countries such as sweden, norway, spain, germany, eastern europe...). thx.

Great find! I'll stick these ads on my Retrobox.

One thing though - since when did the Amiga do full screen 3D rendered graphics in the Amiga 500 celebration clip?

Amiga adverts

I can't believe the 'Sunshine on a rainy day' advert has not been found and digitised. It's the only time I've seen Commodore actively promote the Amiga in TV land.

I just remember the old ads they used to play in Australia

"Are you keeping up with the commodore, because the commodore is keeping up with you" ... or was that for the car?
