Demos using Shell only
I know that back in the day there were several demos that only used the shell. In other words effects using text. There were also programs that would let you make cool scrollers in the shell using multiple rows of characters. Does anyone know where I can find any of these? Apparently there used to be a page dedicated to these. I'd like to display them on the most badass Amiga board aBSiNTHE BBS | absinthebbs.net port 1940
Thanks to anyone who can help! |

It's not the shell, it's the console
What you are looking for is ANSI art. The Amiga console is somewhat ANSI compliant, but it's better to use a dedicated terminal program with more proper ANSI support. Or ViNCEd. http://artscene.textfiles.com/ansi/ |
