Not bad TF! I'm really looking forward to see your score. There are not many points to get in the last level, so you better have some lives left to push your score
Good luck to you! |

uhm. I got into the ship just as time ran out and now the ship isnt there. I had 27 lives (dont know where you all found 60+ lives) I only lost 10 lives and i missed about 15k in mario brothers bricks. So i guess its 5k per life? giving me 1,759,350?

Yup, that should give you 1.759.350 points. I think you found a really rare bug in the game

That's correct. Very good result considering you haven't played the game all that much.
There are quite a few secrets where you can find 3, 4, 6 and 7 lives at once. I'm glad you didn't invest too much time in this game - because I'm sure you would have found them... Plus world 3 is like an extralife-lottery: sometimes the giant "Super Mario"-blocks contain up to 3 lives - and there are a lot of this blocks in that world. Also in the jetpack-stages the enemies on rails can drop 1-ups. |

Its all over for me.. i made one crucial screwup in the extra lives department by destroying a block that takes you to the top on a lift where there are 6 extra lives and every point counts in this compo.. so thats it for me... I could start again, but i wont have enough time before the compo ends.... Actually my uncle was supposed to be going out to see his mate for the entire weekend and last night when i heard the key in the door i can recall just saying to myself..... oh FUCK @$@%@%@%^!@^!Q^#Q@^#$^$#Q@^Q@#$^#@^^!Q%^!Q%^ !... sigh....

Bad news blade, but you really showed us that you are a great Turrican player Really a pity that you didn't had more time to play it. However your score is still really great and john had a hard time beating it (I guess ).

I also noticed a couple of lives fall on the jetpac level. I don't know if i would have cared to find them all. I didnt know the game wasnt so straight-forward. It's all in fun though, no? Thanks Cyber |

Update-: yeah your right John, the extra lives can be a bit of a lottery sometimes, but i think its just mostly down to your playing skill since its not easy to grab all those lives without being wiped out!! |

Well considering you hardly had a chance to play Turrican TF, you definately did an amazing job getting the score that you did, and i am sure you would have most likely destroyed my score had you have had enough time to play it more!

Right I've decided to go for the score TF should have had, but bizarre circumstances prevented... either way it's pretty inconsequential...
And with that, another round's over... well played all. Score updates and new round threads to follow shortly... |
