As gyagyagyerek has updated Star Dust Wars; here are new files

Please just do the following:
  • Delete the <gamedir> "C:\WinUAE\Games\Star Dust Wars".
  • Download / extract the attachment into "C:\WinUAE".

Hi, This game:
Horror Zombies From The Crypt is crashed?

[ Show youtube player ]

"This is the last level. Unlike the Amiga version, where the cross (crucifix) is useless, here, it's an essential item to complete the game, as it repels the immune ghosts that attack you from both sides in the last screen."

:-(

Hi Onasis,

Sorry for the delayed response; very heavy New Years i.e. got home at 6am and so yesterday was a complete write-off

...must admit that I haven't finished this game. Are you saying that there's issues with the .ADF on the 6th level? Can you elaborate further?

Hi, this version of the game can not be completed, on the final board level 6, I'm being attacked by ghosts and nothing can be done.
[ Show youtube player ]
The character disguises himself as Zombi in the movie (at time 41 minute, 40 second), but it does not work on the ADF version. Just like someone wrote (my post above), you need a crucifix but it is useless.

Ok, so you thinking it's a bad crack?

There are these alternatives but maybe all "HZ" cracks are faulty then; and the "Flashtro" one doesn't have a trainer:

... Horror Zombies from the Crypt (1991)(Millennium)[cr Flashtro].zip
... Horror Zombies from the Crypt (1991)(Millennium)[cr HZ].zip
... Horror Zombies from the Crypt (1991)(Millennium)[cr HZ][t +3 PNS].zip
... Horror Zombies from the Crypt (1991)(Millennium)[cr HZ][t +6 EP].zip
... Horror Zombies from the Crypt (1991)(Millennium)[cr HZ][t Apex].zip

There is the .IPF also: Horror Zombies from the Crypt (1991)(Millennium)[0286].zip

Is there a password for start at Level 6? Don't worry; it's "Garlic"

Home now and just watched this YouTube clip of the Amiga Longplay:

[ Show youtube player ]

Didn't see Ironclaw i.e. the person playing, pick up a Crucifix, but he did pick up a Potion (39 minutes 13 seconds) that allowed them to turn into a Zombie.

Knowing Ironclaw also; he probably would have used the WHDLoad version...

Just finished level 6 using "Horror Zombies from the Crypt (1991)(Millennium)[cr HZ][t +5 Goonies].adf" and by following Ironclaw's Amiga Longplay. No issues and I turned into a zombie by using the potion

Must say, bit of a rubbish ending though i.e. just text saying "The End".

For me, the disguise behind Zombi did not work. I played without a trainer. I watched the film and I was doing the same thing. Two ghosts have always killed me.

Are you playing using joystick or keyboard?

I always set "Keyboard Layout B" as default i.e. <Cursor Keys> for movement, <Right Ctrl> or <Right Alt> for Fire, <Right Shift> for Fire 2.

Thing is; for this game, to move along the items panel at the bottom you need to use the <Cursor Keys> and <Space> to select... so when I played with "Keyboard Layout B" I had to swap to <none> for a second, then move to the potion and select.

Best to use a joystick / joypad

Time for a few small updates / fixes i.e:

Lure of the Temptress:
- Renamed the Flashtro set correctly.
- Fixed an issue with the previous "Save Disks" I included.
- Updated the screenshot.

Trap Runner:
- Replaced the "Function 2018 - Party Version" .ADF with the "Final Version" .ADF.

Uwol - Quest for Money:
- Replace the original .ADF with the newly trained Flashtro .ADF.

So, please do the following:
  • Delete the <gamedir> "C:\WinUAE\Games\Lure of the Temptress".
  • Delete the <gamedir> "C:\WinUAE\Games\Trap Runner".
  • Delete the <gamedir> "C:\WinUAE\Games\Uwol - Quest for Money".
  • Download / extract the attached archive into C:\WinUAE.
