Tecnoball Z cracked and released

Filling in for Galahad while he's away and posting this, all credit to him for the crack of this previously unreleased Breakout / Arkanoid like game. He wanted me to thank >>> dlfrsilver <<< also who was vital to the project.

Enjoy! And spread like the wind

Well done to you and Denis!

Freakishly, your post came about an hour after it had crossed my mind already (besides, Jedi mind tricks only work on me if I allow them to! ).

Anyway, I thought while I was in the groove with knocking up a HOL entry for Monopoli, I might as well cobble together a quick one for Tecnoball Z too (consider it a placemat entry for now coz it's really bloody late here!).

I'm pleased to know that it's now cracked

This game lacks a whdload install however

Thanks to Phil, and also to Bruno Ethvignot for the original master disk !

there are also 2 version of Equality from TLK Games. One version is DOS and not copy protected, but the other version is copy protected, and different from the unprotected version.

Maybe someone could work out his cracking talent on it ?

A very good game. I played only level one to test it and was pleased by the game speed on my emulated A500.

Played for some time, the game seems too easy. Anyway nice release thanks for this.

Any way of getting this to run on an A1200 with an '040? Loaded it from floppy and it won't play ball on my machine at all. If there's a way in coaxing it to work in lieu of a WHDLoad install then that'd be great

I gather you've tried degraders like Relokick, TUDE and JST? IIRC JST sometimes gives you success where the traditional degraders fail.

Alternatively, adjust the startup-sequence and comment out the cracktro if that's causing problems (unlikely given that it's a "modern" crack, but stranger things can occur on 040!).

Bingo! Ran Degrader, used Priviliged, NoCache and NoFastMem options and it worked like a charm

The cracktro was never an issue, although I'm not convinced it displayed 100% correctly. I will have to try it on WinUAE, however it can always be skipped past without any issues. It's only whilst the game itself is loading that the issues originally arose.
