Play Expo 13th/14th October Manchester, anyone going?

http://www.playexpo.net/

Booked a weekend ticket with a mate so we can get p*ssed and not worry about driving back Saturday night Anyone else going?

Went to the last ever Replay Expo last year with the same mate at Blackpool as it's now moved and changed name to Play Expo, bought some stuff from Amigakit while I was there like a new Amiga mouse & a PC Joystick for playing those Amiga games on WinUAE Got a ball stuck on one of the Pinball tables and couldn't free the damn thing so had to casually walk away Had a nice BLT sandwich and pot of tea and listned to (or tried to as the mike wasn't working ) the talk about Imagine software but cos of the mike problem we wandered back into the melee!!

Hope this Play Expo is just as good/bad as Replay Expo was as that's what makes these things so special

And todays edition of Sesame Street was brought to you by the letters 'P' and the numbers '4' and '5'

You do realise it's on a Saturday/Sunday? Unless your job includes unpaid weekend working woven into those contracts that include 'Reasonable overtime' and 'Flexible working hours'!!

Yeah I went to the Blackpool event the last two years, first year was awesome and I was there from Friday-Sunday. It's one of the best lads weekends I can remember.

Last year I went for the Sunday only, my boss let me leave early on the Saturday (he's not all bad ) and I got there around 9pm and got totally legless and was nursing a hangover all day Sunday

Then had the long drive back Sunday evening ready for work Monday...

I guess Manchester is a bit nearer, maybe I'll do it nearer the time. Maybe I can beg for the Saturday off...

Put me down as a maybe

We need an official EAB 'Meeting place', like a pub or a pub or even a pub

We hope to go this year. It is a few days before Amiwest so it will be a very busy week for us.

I'll be leaving 8AM Saturday with my mate so will arrive about 10'ish!

Lookout for a smallish guy about 5' 2", baseball cap (signed by the JCB Dancing Diggers 2011), pony tail, glasses and pleasantly plump, just so you can avoid me
