EAB IRC meeting session#2

Hello Amiga addicts !
In less than 24 hours, the second EAB IRC session will take place all over the world, be there

» Saturday 13 July 2002 at 11:00 (San Francisco) 14:00 (New York) 19:00 (London) 20:00 (Paris) 06:00 (Brisbane) 08:00 (Wellington) «

you don't know how to connect on our channel ? just read this annoucement.
(if newnet irc network shut down, or if too many users can't connect to the network, we may switch to quakenet network at the beginning of the meeting, just check the EAB for news)

This second major meeting will be the occasion to launch the first EAB/abîme.net TShirts !

For the event, we have organized one little quiz tournament (multiple choice questions) based on your knowledge of amiga games !
The Quiz will take place in one dedicated EAB's thread, and the winners of the tournament will have free TShirt !!
- timestamps will told us who was the fastest for each question.
- one new question every 5 minuts (total of 15 questions).
- multiple winners.
- EAB's moderators and HOL's team members can not play

A few days later, we will also sold TS to everyone.
(at least the first 40 ppl which will answered to one special thread)

Here are some photos of the TShirts, this is our first production, they are not perfect yet, consider them as collectors !

I might be up for a bit of UT online after if anyone is interested, i'll host a game the pass will be "eab", the server will be on Deathmatch, and the name of the server will be "AmigaUT"... i'll post the IP on the day (here and IRC)

I have an important exam very early on the sunday morning, and I will have to sleep earlier on saturday, and even before that, I won't be home anyway.

It's a real shame for me ..

I'll try and pop-in but I'm meant to be at an engagement party Saturday afternoon and if the beer starts flowing...................well it'll be a pretty drunk Bloodwych if I do manage to catch the meeting at 19:00 but to be truthful I'll probably end up in town.

Problem is this Saturday seems a busy day for everyone.

DJay, I'd love a game of UT sometime. I'll get my arsed kicked on 56K but what the hell, it's the fun of playing right?

- ATM the newnet IRC network seems net-splitted / down...
- If 1h before the event it still don't work, we will jump to quakenet network, much more reliable.
- The tournament should start 1 hour after the beginning of the meeting.
