Floppy drives no longer work in my 4000T

My floppy stope working in my 4000T

I have tried 4 other working drives and all I get is DF0:?????

When it boots the motor spins on the floppy and the LED flashes as few times. After the 4000T booots and I stick in a floppy the motor doesnt spin and the LED doesnt light

I have tried a new Floppy controller and same thing

Any ideas?

Thanks!

The 4000T that I have had a modification to the floppy cable to allow a sony 880 drive to work with the amiga. If you are using a true amiga drive (one of the ones that are working) then you need to plug it into the cable before the mod for the drive to recognize properly. you can also try a floppy cable from a amiga 2000 or 3000 instead of the cable that came with the 4000T if you are using a true amiga drive (not the sony that the 4000T came with).
Hope it helps.
