Yes but write these .ST files where ? Emulators will only access floppies, i don't think they can have the ST side write to some HD directory...
But Hatari can do that (thru pc folder) from sps raw dumps, so i'll just do it this way. |

Some news...
Ended up with more than 600 disk images, urgh. No problem for everything Amiga related ; WinUae is just fine with these. Raw images work on Hatari but the emulator itself has troubles running games doing "dirty" things, f.e. one game fails on copy protection but works if this gets skipped (aka half-cracked version skipping initial disk check), in spite of the custom disk format. Perhaps Steem would accept running that filthy code but it doesn't accept raw disk images. Could try Steem sse but it wants D3D9 and i don't have that and i don't want to risk messing my system (especially with the wrong version of a dx runtime). So it appears most of the stuff has been imaged properly after all, though I still have one game using some custom format that refuses to work and i don't know if it's the format that wasn't copied or the emulator unable to run it. |
