Where can I buy a flickerfixer/scandoubler?

Does someone know where I can buy a flixer fixer (preferably external)?

I have an Amiga 1200 desktop. Can I fit an internal scandoubler/flicker fixer in the case or do I need to put the mother board in a tower?
Or shall I go for a external flicker fixer instead?

you can add a flickerfixer internal or external
the new scandoublers made by indivision for the A1200 are out of stock...
you can wait for the new stock or try amibay or ebay and get one by second hand

Since you are from sweden, possible solution would be LCD-TV. Buy LCD-TV with scart input and you might get solid rock picture

Moust of them (not all) would do the trick

What should I be looking for if I want to be sure that the LCD-tv will work with the amiga. Are there any brand in particular that works especially well?

No external scandoubler will work with majority of modern LCDs. However the Indivision 1200 will - we hope to get some later this year.

Dedicated Amiga scandoublers this may be true true, but most (all?) generic external scan doublers on sale today have scan rate conversion which allows them to work with LCD's and a 50Hz input.

ALL external scan doublers work fine with modern LCD's when the Amiga is forced to 60Hz (which is easy in WHDload).

The problem with external scandoublers is the digital->analog->digital->analog conversion. This can loose quality significantly. The Indivision 1200 is one stage digital->analog and so has a much better picture. Plus it has lots of other benefits.

Every UK LCD-TV I've ever tried (4 and counting) works with the Amiga using a correctly wired RGB->SCART cable. Issues arise from interlace & non-interlaced flickering. If you buy your LCDTV new and keep all the packaging you can always return it after testing if you are not happy. Oh, and remember that the Amiga is a 4:3 picture so better to get a 4:3 LCDTV if you can.
