strange partition beetwen winuae and real a1200

hello!

i have a amiga 1200 with a harddrive and 6 partitions on. the 4 firts are ok but for the dh4 and dh5 are strange i can see and access under winuae and real amiga but if i copy something on i can see just under and with i have copieed that. exemple if i copy a demos file or lha under wiinuae, i don't see files under real amiga (it's look like the hardrive empty). i think it's perhaps a problem with filesystem?

ps: sorry for my bad english

Let me guess, drive is bigger than 4G and non-working partitions are in >4G part of drive? And you don't have OS 3.5 or newer?

Partition size is irrelevant. Drive size is very important. (Is it over 4G?)

Search "check4gb".

Only OS 3.5/3.9 have full 4G support. Another solution is to install IDEFix.

WinUAE's device driver fully supports >4G drives but Amiga's built-in IDE/SCSI scsi.device requires patch that only comes with OS3.5+

These instructions are for the Buddha IDE controller only. For the A1200's IDE controller you need IDEfix (software) or OS 3.5+.

i have found thi sone but need td64 filesystem
IDE-fix:
Enhance your IDE-port! Faster transfer, faster booting, less CPU use!
No MaxTransfer troubles, set MaxTransfer as big as you like!
TD64 & NSD commands supported, use IDE drives bigger than 4 GIG with your
Amiga (requires FileSystem with TD64 and/or NSD support).

if it's another can u tell me where i can found this one please

Yes, it is the right one. http://aminet.net/package/disk/misc/IDEfix97

And yes, it needs FFS-TD64, too. IDEfix replaces the IDE driver so that it supports TD64 commands. The Buddha driver does support TD64 commands on its own. Support for TD64 commands is needed for FFS-TD64 to work.

There is also a free solution using the files from this page: http://os.amigaworld.de/index.php?lang=en&page=37
But those files are old and beta. You need these programs and patches, too:
http://aminet.net/package/disk/misc/FFS43.19_patch
http://aminet.net/package/util/sys/patchstrip
http://aminet.net/package/util/boot/LoadModule

The FFS patch does not work, you have to apply it manually.

If you understand german, I've written a guide here: http://thomas-rapp.homepage.t-online.de/bighdd/

It does work with Kick 3.0. It even works with Kick 2.0. Just the LoadV43Module program refuses to run. But Thor's LoadModule is better anyway. See the links above.
