Thanks for the pointer Fabie and everyone else for chipping in. TCD has provided a good chunk of preinstalled games too to help out.
Looks like there are loads of games! |

also there are ton's of exe files and AGA fixes that ancient cracker groups have done but there aren't on the EAB server and are lost in the web personally I really like that old cracks cause there are simple exe files and generally are trained with lots of options...better than any whdload game for example I have lots of that exe files turrican 2 turrican 3 bckid mighty bomb jack battle squadron canon fodder and many others maybe a new directory with request of that type can be created and ppl can upload it there that lost cracks what do you think? |

Good idea Fabie - it would be nice to have all the non-WHDLoad games in one place, including the cracks.

Most RPG/adventure/strategy games will work from harddisk under OS1.3. Quite a few of them will even work under OS3.9. Bard's Tale 3, Demon's Winter, Balance of Power, etc.

I think Boo Boo meant the zone, but why not use the file server instead I'll create a new subfolder in 'Game' for them then

I remember installing SimCity, SimEarth, and SimAnt on my little harddrive. I had to use Assigns to make them work though. Also Reach for the Stars comes to mind.

I didn't notice It Came from the Desert mentioned (1&2 both work on 1.3+HD after assigns etc).
Hmm... MegaTraveller1&2 works too. Then there's Lurking Horror, of course. |

As from my memory I can name
Ports of Call Test Drive II Bar Games Phantasie III Also did run on kick13 I also think I got it work with a boot floppy to gvp hd on a kick12 machine with hd. I can remember I made two rad disk and got Warlords to work that way on kick12, but it depends more memory, I think I did it with total 5 MB. (maybe it was only 3 MB long time ago was with my first amiga 500 with a gvp harddrive - which I don't have any longer) Last edited by TTD; 22 September 2011 at 19:10. Reason: More info |

Hi Bloodwynch,
just take this list: http://hol.abime.net/hol_search.php?...rdware=11&af=A All these games are hard drive installable under Workbench 1.3. Some need Kick 2.x and most need at least 1MB Ram. Some of them are a little bit tricky to install. If you need help, let me know. If have yesterday successfully installed It came from the Desert on Workbench 1.3 and today I solved it. Killed the ant-queen. |
