WTF ? Elbox ???
They make other things than Amiga products and their website is so outdated that it is filled with useless crap. After reading the "useless" crap in the translate page, the author should go on the radio with Rush Limbaugh and make money complaining without ever attempting to run for office.
But lets stay with technology and avoid politics and religion. Last edited by Cymru; 28 May 2013 at 17:54. |

Er, "useless crap" that should be pruned from their website (if they actually "cared," mind you).

@majsta
Well at least they are still here and continuing to make new manufacturing runs. I will be placing an order soon for a new Mediator and Fast ATA card for my A4000T, it is nice to know I can buy these brand new and won't have to resort to eBay/Amibay, expecting to pay 3x the original purchase price which seems to be the norm for recently discontinued hardware. |

Yes it was mentioned by elbox in a past thread, and I do recall times meditaors being out of stock.
Yea exactly me point, elbox gear is not 3x it's normal price now because you can still buy them brand new! Now contrast that with something like a Subway USB card, old retail price £70.00, new used price £200 plus. The Deneb was originally £120.00 and now people are asking up to £300.00! |

They should remove everything they promised and didn't produced. I m so sick of their promises and the bombastic prices that I just had to go into hardware development. It is cheaper for me to invest in research and development of Amiga to PCI bus than to buy one Mediator.

I almost agree with You at one exception - software - issue are drivers and this is not limited to Amiga but overall to all open source/DIY projects - simply lack of specs, "security by obscurity" - this protect "precious" secrets - nowadays even RAM chips full datasheet are not easily available - other example - Raspberry PI - nice, cheap HW to for example create Amiga Ethernet board with TCP/IP stack to release MC68K or even to run web browser, accelerate video, create virtual graphic card... lack of datasheets and all you can do is use simple frame buffer without acceleration etc etc etc. |

Probably not. It was just another Manifesto rant about politics.
