Beneath a Steel Sky and wrongly named disks

It seems that when the Beneath a Steel Sky disks were being mastered, they mixed the disks up and the wrong labels are on the wrong disks.

We have a scan of an official statement by Virgin in Issue 7/94 of the German "Amiga Games" magazine courtesy of WindowsKiller.

Does anybody know anything about this? We would really like to get hold of a magazine scan with a similar article in English!

I personally don't remember seeing this in any of my magazines, but I guess one must be around somewhere. It might be nice to include these in the release in an "addon" section so people do not get really confused all over again.

Thanks in advance for any help!

here a little overview of the disks:

name on label diskname

bootdisk disk1of15
disk0 disk2of15
disk1 disk3of15
. .
. .

disk13 disk15of15

I think we may have a german dump, but I will have to check. Feel free to dump it anyway in case it is a different version though.

If anybody has an english magazine scan of the Virgin apology, that would be really *g.r.e.a.t.* !

also the german version has both types of naming on it...

so i think there should be no problem to understand the situation, when the diskscans are included in the coming release...

Maybe your disks are mastered after 7/94 and therefore have fixed labels.
