Ars Technica Reviews OS4.1

http://arstechnica.com/articles/cult...gaos41-ars.ars

I enjoyed reading the review but the bit that caught my eye the most was this part right near the end... "A Hyperion developer told me that not only has the OS been run on a PS3, but they have even tested support for the seven SPU units in the Cell processor."

Now i'd quite happily buy a PS3 to run OS4.1 on rather than a SAM440!

I'd prefer a Wii version...just imagine playing Amiga games on a big TV with the Wiimote as a mouse

How about adventure games?

Of course they'd also also need to do a wireless quick shot pro for action games

Competition Pro for me Maybe it's just because I don't like the thought of standing in the middle of my living room waving a controller through the air

Now if they would only allow us to run their OS on old mac hardware .... or the WII.
I think then I'd like to give it a spin. But not for 600 euro of hardware that I don't want around to litter my house.

Despite being a confirmed 'classic Amiga' type on what's a mostly classic Amiga BB I really, really want OS4.1...
...but not at the current entry price.

Already working on a PS3..?
I'd buy that - or preferably a Wii version.

Oh, well - maybe that doesn't rule out a Wii port...
