IDEFIX97 and Amiga 4000
I installed IDEFIX on my Amiga 4000 but when I goto the IDEFIX97 directory there is no IDEFIX file?
Thanks for any help! |

I think it installs the command itself to C: and the support materials to the chosen directory. Check the install log file to see what the installer did.

Error numbers are eight digits. The 8 in the beginning just means it is a dead-end alert and it cannot continue without reboot. The important part is in the other four digits.

And depending on what other hardware/software you have installed, getting a stable IDE environment can be a nightmare. In addition to the full error code Thomas mentioned, more details about your config will be helpful in diagnosing.
