Great news about the advances on FPU development! I wonder what it's speed is like vs. the raw 68k speed of the Vampire CPU core itself.

Um, the slow one is the Vampire. The good news is that there is a lot of room for improvement. E.g. in the version used for the video the ea-decoding is done by the emulation code despite the fact that the CPU puts the decoded ea into the exception stack frame.

Ahh, OK, see I thought it was a case of the first video being the earliest release of the SoftFPU and the second being a newer revision. My bad.
