Unfortunately the Amiga version was never released. You can however easily play the Mac version of the game on your accelerated A1200s using Shapeshifter!
I couldn't find a working copy of the game myself, so I didn't add it to the MacGames HDF I made, but you can still download both that and the MacOS (7.6.1) HDFs from the EAB File Server, install Shapeshifter, then just make some room on the MacGames partition by deleting a game you don't want and replacing it with The Settlers II if you can find the Mac version somewhere. If you haven't set Shapeshifter up before or try setting it up and have some problems, let me know and I'll try to help. I wrote a post a little while ago with some basics of what you need to get it all working - http://eab.abime.net/showpost.php?p=712359&postcount=53 Give it a try if you're curious, I'd love to see the results (since I can't find a working copy of Settlers II for Mac to test myself ) |

I remember back in 1999 Amiga Format was doing a campaign to lobby Titan Computers to port Settlers 2 to the Amiga. There was an online petition, but unfortunately, it wasnt released.
I have uploaded Settlers II (Mac version) for everyone to play with ShapeShifter/Fusion. Somebody could please copy it to the Magix/EAB server. http://www..com/file/mc8h4y...SettlersII.sit Enjoy |

No problem. BTW if you need more Mac 68k games, just let me know, I have a Macintosh Performa full of them. |

Wow, thanks for the offer, Gulliver! You wouldn't happen to have Sim Town and the first Warcraft game would you?

Quote:
Shapeshifter + a 1MB rom needs about 1.7MB of drive space Settlers 2 needs about 20MB of drive space And then you have to take into account the MacOS you are going to use, and of course add some more space just in case. |

Be carefull:
MacOS space requirements for a full install: 8.x - 195MB 7.6.x - 70MB 7.5.x - 60MB I highly recommend you not to go below those OS versions if you plan to play decent games. So now do the math |

That's it, sorry for taking so long to reply you guys! I got sidetracked by my coding tonight. It is indeed in /Misc/Various/MacOS for Amiga/
The MacOS 7.6.1 installation and the MacGames partitions should both be there. Just load them both into Shapeshifter. |
