Some are just as thick as they come...

RCK, perhaps you should post some announcement or something about this too. You could link to my crappy FAQ.

I think Malc has some FAQs about this at ALE. I know I've seen some good ones too. I have a text that explains how to network an Amiga and a PC, if that helps. I got it off the Aminet, and can look for it.

in regards to the crack about "as thick as they come", i am actually new to this and hadn't used this message service.
I turned to it because i thought i might ask people who know what they are talking about, but if you don't have the time or patience to help others, then you may as well not belong to a forum such as this...

It doesn't take much to offer your help without the abuse and it doesn't make you any better than anyone else because you happen to know a few things about a certain type of computer.

You are wrong dbrowne, we will help you.

I just reproach you to have not read all the others posts about this topic, and there aren't as many messages as you think about it in this section : " Problems > Hardware".

Now, we are trying to compile all the good links about this topic, to make one permanent annoucement about this well knowed problem. (like we do in the "Request > Games" for games).

You should not blame us to not helping you, we are doing our best, be patient. And please don't flame us anymore without knowing a little bit more the people here.

I did in fact read heaps of other posts in the whole notice board.
I spent 1 hour and a half trying to find out something that might help and i saw plenty but none of it in plain english.

I was hoping someone might reply on a personal level via email.

I knew i would find help and i appreciate it, i just don't think others (Akira) should comment about the level of someone's intelligence. As far as i can discern he isn't an administrator and posting 5-6 times a day shouldn't give anyone the right to make those comments.

Again, your help is appreciated.

Bwahaha, Tazz is acid eh? [btw Tazz, I didn't forget about your disks. Lemem get a bit more time to compile them. Couldn't sit down to use my Amiga in weeks ]

Sorry if my post offended you, but as RCK said, nregistered users tend to come here, post a yell once, and never come back again. Seems it is not your case.

Then again, you must have done something wrong while searching, since I think I have replied to this very same topic about 5 times, if not more. In english, of course :P

Hope this is all settled now. RCK will post an announcement that will avoid (yeah right) further posts about this frequently asked subject.
