Yes, and button press response seems really fast. Probably that what wairnair wanted a few pages ago.

Please could you try this version below with the two button fix.

Thanks to Ross, reaction time to reading the buttons is now in one frame as opposed to two so much more responsive.

Yes mate, some people reported problems with the jump button using some controllers.

Yep, the second button in WHDLoad doesn't work (with the Techno Plus pad). Needs an update then. But i think Jotd didn't have normal 2-button pad back then.

Yes. Sorry, i meant Amike with this WHDLoad problem related to Toki. Rygar works fine with the new code from Ross and your updates from yesterday.

@McGeezer : I noticed something, on the Arcade version you can kill the Monster/birds like this gif...



On the Amiga version.. you can't !!! they are too high ! :\

Seriously....

While I did not intend the game to work that way it has to be varied enough to make it different on the Amiga. Otherwise, you might as well just pull out MAME.

In Level 9, if the creature kills you while you are hanging on the rope, the game is stuck. The rope is gone and the all game sprites too.

I'll try it tonight when I get sorted, is it a one off or happens every time?

the password for round 9 is "SPQXZ".

Will try Level 9 again. I have a ACA1233n with a 68030 CPU and 128MB fastram. Maybe it's related to the expansion hardware.

If it happens again, try pressing both the left mouse button and fire at the same time to trigger a reset of the map.

Gents, i’ll get around to fixing the issues but now i need a break. I’ll fix them in due course. Some of the bugs reported are indeed glitches but they don’t really affect the game play.

You're right, these are just small things that do not affect the quality of the game ... and I think a good period of rest is well deserved with all this work
