Expanding my previous answer...This seems to solve it.

#ifndef LEAN
#include <clib/dos_protos.h>
#include <clib/exec_protos.h>
#define __chip
#include <proto/exec.h>
#include <proto/dos.h>
The trick is you must define LEAN on compilation. But the clang-tidy doesn't get it defined, so it get's tricked.

In QtCreator, open the .config file of your Project and add

#define __chip
#define __saveds

This will prevent the IDE from tripping up without you having to change anything about the source.
Also make sure to add VBCC as a “KIT”, so intellisense will also find all includes.

Right now QT Creator won't open without crashing so that one's out! I'll have to take another look when I have some more time.
