One Amiga game and a desert island...
I know its a horrible thought but Id like to know....
If you were stranded on an island and could have only one Amiga game to play for the next erm..5 years.....which one and why? Sorry if this thread is in the wrong place |

cool, i also thought about asking this question...
my choice would be Frontier - Elite 2 because you can play it forever, most other games have a ending and you have to start from the begining again, i'd explore the galaxy after exploring the island |

This is the best thread idea I have seen since "Top 15 dead TV child stars" that Twistin posted a while back.
Hmmmm, Dast. It's a touuuuuuuhhgie indeed. But If I had only one game, it'd be one with tons of replay value. I'd go for Fields of Glory AGA. Incredible Napoleonic wargame. Many posibilities and variations in the battles! I have every Napoleonic game EVER for every system, right up to the newest "Austerlitz: Napoleon's Greatest Victory" for the PC. Nothing compares to Fields of Glory though! |

I would take ishar 3 (aga) because I'm already trying to complete it for a few years!
and Fred, there is a game called "Napoleon's Russian Campaign". But it's new and I don't know what it is like. |

I'd have to agree with Elite 2 - Frontier as it's really a never ending story

I would take "Gazza's Super Soccer". It's so bleeding boring I would stop playing after 5 minutes and do something useful instead. Build a hut, catch some fish and find a volleyball to talk to.

Civilization.
I'd take the all time classic civilization. Random map generator will keep the game intresting, but I do have to say I have really played that game out over the years, dunno if I could play it 5 more years full time

I think I would go for Sensible World of Soccer.. there's no other game I played more than this one, and I could try to win EVERY tournament in the game with EACH team... that surely would take more than 5 years
Frontier is a good choice too |

Turrican 2
I agree with Akira. Turrican 2 is the Amiga game I would play on a deserted island. For 11 years I am playing this game once in a while and I am still not bored with it.

I completely agree with CPC464 and would also take Pirates! with me I´m playing this for ages now, freeing my familie over and over again, taking over almost every town, but it´s still enjoyable I think I will still play this game when I´m 80 years old
