Check connection from pin 5 of mouse port to Paula pin 35.

Schematics available here: http://www.ianstedman.co.uk/Amiga/sc...chematics.html

resurrected.......

I have the same problem, looking at the schematic posted above, I would suggest that R352 (or something pulling the +5v line low) is the most likely suspect .

I'll update if i resolve the issue.

any further help would be gratefully received on this issue.

symptoms ....... slight (1px) left/right pointer movement when mouse moved in circles otherwise everything is fine

Hi, I too have a mouse issue with my A1200. Basically it is behaving like the Right Mouse Button is being held down all the time when it is not. I have tried different Mice also to make sure its not the actual Mouse I was using and the same result happens. Any ideas on what could be the cause of this? I have sent my A1200 Motherboard to Amiga Kit and they have had it the best part of 2 months but haven't fixed it yet.

Thanks
Dave

Either the Paula chip or some track/via near the Paula is broken.

Hopefully Amiga Kit can sort that out pretty quickly if they have established that . I haven't had my A1200 working since September and I miss it like crazy!

Any advice on getting a better and more efficient PSU for it?
