Hydra AmiNet network card

http://amiga.resource.cx/exp/amiganet2000

asking what you thing about this card
is there some feature you do not like

i have use card on my BBS 3-4 years now 24/7
and i start To doubt its stability

last year I suffered A2000 computer random stall
Has previously been similar.
The fault has been far too dense in the past year
I also wonder if this card feature or symptom of a card breakdown ?

system what i use is A2000 gvp030/50Mhz

No, it's a stable card. But any card can age.

Hydra needs fixing for newer machines like A1200/A4000, and it isn't the most reliable card. I did use it for years with 10Mbps Internet, had some stalls occasionally and speed wasn't the greatest. When I finally upgraded to Mediator with 10/100Mbps card the speed bumped up dramatically and reliability went to 100%.

I've got a Haydra AmigaNet card of the Coax/AUI interface type running the sana2 standard driver, and the available AmiTCP stack in an A4000T/060 I have, and it's stable. This was from the 1991 GVP-era when they resold it for a time.

Didn't you say you used an A2000? That fix is only relevant for A3000 and A4000.

update
The A2000 was off the line for about two years I thought it was broken.
my amazement was great when i started to fix it after a long pause and i found that it worked perfectly on the control desk ?!

the reason for the vague stalling was indeed the router which through traffic passed
this crashed the machine constantly while the internet was on
no one device has had a problem with the device Weird !!!
