Help an idiot work out how to restore Quarterback disks

It's been a long while since I last used Quarterback, and I've been trying to restore these numerous QB disks I've found in the TOSEC so I can examine their contents.

Unfortunately it seems no matter which version I use, I'm stumped. I would've thought that the official method was to insert a QB'd ADF into one of the drives and have the program find it through the device, but seemingly that isn't so. I can obviously see a Restore option, but no way of pointing it to the disk I want, and after I click Restore anyway I see all sorts of scary-looking technical options I'd rather not mess around with.

Soooooooooooooo....... step-by-step guide anyone? >.<

I used to use quaterback alot. If you can tell me of one to look at, ill give it a shot
I had commented elsewhere that these backup disks have no business being part of an archive, especially where the original/crack source file/disk/adf exists anyway.
