would love to play this BUT every time I start it up startup screen shows up and then quickly it shows 'networking at bottom left side of screen' and then system reboots..I have no problem going online so not network related..perhaps cache or MMU related???.
my system is A4000, PAL, CS-MKIII, OS3.9 BB1&2 |

Just wanted to check if my first place still holds ;-), but there is Network Error reported. Other network apps like AmIRC or FTP work, so I suspect some problem on the server side.

can't play the game anymore, there is a "network error".
 is this service shut down?is there any single player patch available for being able to play without dead network? |

what's the point of releasing a game which is depending on online-servers?
once the server shut down (which happened obviously), the game is dead! now sweepout is just a useless unplayable piece of software! I'll never play online based amiga games again! shuts down once i play/like! |

I tried Sweepout again after a longer time and it looks as the server is offline.
 Did anybody contact Crisot regarding this?  I see his account on eab was deleted.

Only just saw this thread. Bit late now!
Are there any other games with similar requirements that are multiplayer in the same way? Or any where you can be matched up online randomly or whatever. Last edited by Twiggy; 03 April 2020 at 17:11. |

I like this too. We should have more online stuff with high-scores etc.
Think if Whd-load could have this database online with high-scores from games. Sure your Amiga must be online but could be possible right? |

it's down again.
i suggest implementing an offline mode which enables us playing it when there is this "network error" again... onlineplay only is a no-go if it's broken repeatedly. |

as far i know you only need to enable bsdsocket.library and uaenet.device;
both settings are located in expansions tab, miscellaneous expansions. |
