CSMKII DMA bug
Hello,
I have a CSMKII here with the DMA issue. According to Amiga Ressources, some parts have to be changed. Do we know what are the parts affected or only phase 5 knows that ? Thanks for your help ! |

Check your serial number if still glued on the board and compare with amiga ressources.
http://amiga.resource.cx/exp/cyberstorm2 Your scsi addon will work in all cases even if it is affected by the problem. Only DMA storage devices will not work : internal A3k scsi controller, deneb in DMA mode... In an A4k it is not really à problem, in A3k it is as the csmkII scsi addon will not fit in the case and the internal scsi controller will not work. In this case you need a zorro III storage expansion that do not use DMA access such as Deneb in PIO mode, buddha, fastata... Last edited by CrashMidnick; 11 September 2012 at 09:28. |

Yes on my amigas
 HDD is not recognized at all even in the early. For the Deneb, data are corrupted.

It probaly has been sent back to phase 5 to fix it
