Helping out
Hey i would like to help out, and i have tried my hand at one of my favorite games "Parasol Stars"; but i just can't seem to get i right

Firstly, make sure you have an uncompressed save state.
Load the save file into gfx rip and search with arrow keys until you find something that looks like a sprite.set width to 32 but leave the height until later,select st mode with M.Parasol stars is in 16 colours so set the bitplanes to 4 by pressing E 3 times.press L to select the correct colours.See below. Now i been trying my hand at Parasol stars, and seem to have a bit of trouble getting the main player sprite to line up properly
Is there anything speciel to this sorry to ask all these questions but I'm rather new to this and really would like to learn. Doesnt really mather what Y value i set |

The height is different for each frame of the sprite,what I usually do is increase the y value until you get a few long sets of sprites and then I just edit them and manually put a border around them in paint shop pro or whatever editing software you have.
