Amiga 4000 audio capacitor help
Hi guys,
I have a couple of A4000's with low/crackly audio, which is classic capacitor issue (or worse, if left too long). It seems I removed C433 and C443 a long time ago one one board, and then didn't replace them. Now unfortunately, C443 has one of the pads lifted (the one further from the edge of the board). I looked over the schematics to see where I could jump a wire to fix this, and it looks like this cap goes between R403C and R443. However, those aren't marked on my board! Is there a board layout somewhere to show which resistors these are? Has someone done this and had to fix it before and could give a hint? |

I just scraped a little off the trace going to the pad and "made a new one". It was enough to get the cap connected.
However, I think it has other damage, as the volume in both channels is super-low and distorted. I'll try to take photos, but I don't think I have a camera or a good setup to get that detail. |
