Network Cards

Right, this should be my final question here!!!

Unfortunatly, due to lack of documentation on what I brought I am having to hassle you guys...

I've got a Mediator PCI 1200 in my Tower Case. I also own a 3Com Etherlink XL PCI card. I have no drivers of any shape or form. Is there a way I can get these working with each other so I can get onto the Internet using my OS 3.9?

Equally I'd like to home network as well, copying files from my PC.

Finally. If this is possible and anyone can ever point me to a list of directions of tell me how to do it, I'd very much apprichate it.

OK, www.amiga-mediator.co.uk IIRC.... that has idiot proof guides that I am looking at ... when my CD gets back

Or you could also try subscribing to the Amiga Mediator Yahoo Group which is pretty damn helpful.

BUT, I don't know about the card you are using and I think you need to use a RTL8139 based card. Got one from Ebay for £3 by asking the guy nicely so they are dead easy to get.

Dont bother with a 10mbit one....unless you are desperate but also do note that 100mbit is faster than most Amiga HDs seem to cope with...

Indeed it is! Nearly up and running bar this now...

The 10mbit one is one that I had laying around that I am hoping may work, it's a 3Com and fairly old. Only really want it for basic net access on it TBH.

I'll be getting the CD mailer tomorrow BTW so hopefully be with you Fri / Sat.
